Hello, my name is Samie Garcia and I am originally from Los Angeles, CA. I came to South Carolina to play Division 1 softball in the SEC for the Gamecocks. I graduated with a Bachelors in Sport and Entertainment Management in Spring 2014. This past year at USC, I have been serving as the Graduate Assistant for the Gamecock softball team while pursuing my Masters in Education Technology. I am currently playing my third season in the National Professional Fastpitch league for the Pennsylvania Rebellion. I was originally drafted out of college to the NY/NJ Comets in 2013 but unfortunately the Comets disbanded and the Rebellion was formed last year. So this will be my second year with the Rebellion. You catch some of my games this summer on the CBS Sports Network.
